Grooming
The ultimate aim of Mt. Shasta Nordic is to provide quality groomed cross country ski trails. For very personal reasons, we strive to both provide and partake of the best Nordic grooming possible. We are supported in this endeavor by the Mt. Shasta Ski Park, who provide on-call snowcat grooming. We also utilize our own snowmobile grooming equipment. On a daily basis, staff evaluates conditions and anticipated weather and makes the call on when, what, and how grooming is best accomplished. The time of day and machinery used will vary with conditions; our desire to produce the best possible skiing surface will never waver.

Grooming Report
We generally update the web and phone (530-926-2142) grooming reports at least once per day with both planned and completed grooming and conditions information.
